Our Charity Partner - Lost-n-Found Youth

We are not just a gathering of like-minded individuals but a vibrant tapestry of unique perspectives and experiences. We believe it’s essential to channel our support toward causes that resonate deeply within our community. With a high queer population within the fandom, LGBTQ+ issues have a profound impact on many of our members. That’s why we are proud to support our charity partner: Lost-n-Found Youth.

Lost-n-Found Youth is an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to helping homeless LGBTQ+ youth find stability, safety, and a place to call home. Supporting Lost-n-Found Youth reflects our commitment to addressing the urgent challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals and creating a compassionate, inclusive space where every member, regardless of their background, feels seen, heard, and supported.

How does the Charity Auction work?

Each item, or lot of items, will be brought up for auction. Watch the projector screen for details!

The auctioneer will establish a starting price, and bids will rise from that point in increments that are appropriate for the situation.

The highest bidder wins! Be prepared with your MyFWA registration number, we will ask for it to identify your purchase!

You may pay for and collect the item then, or at any time until the close of the auction. If you intend to purchase multiple items, please pay for them all at once.

All payments will be made directly to Lost-n-Found Youth via their cashier table. Credit card and other cashless methods are accepted. They will hand you your items once payment is complete.

Terms of Sale

• This is a real, legally binding auction! By being the highest bidder for an item, you agree to purchase said item at the price of your bid.
• ALL ITEMS must be paid for and removed at the conclusion of the sale. Items left behind will be considered abandoned and WILL NOT be available to reclaim.
• All bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
• All items are sold AS IS and WHERE IS with no guarantee expressed or implied by the auctioneer, Furry Weekend Atlanta, Lost-n-Found Youth, or the donor/maker of any particular item.
